Another Great Book by Stuart

This is the 7th book in Stuart Slades series on alternative history. The books keep getting better and better as the series matures. As the series has moved along we get to see the development of long standing characters plus the introduction of new ones. Some great descriptions of the overall fighting in the Falklands islands and a great naval battle. Also interesting to see how Britain is struggling to rebuilt and regain its relevance in the world after the disaster of its peace with Nazi Germany during WW2.
Overall a great read that was entertaining and well worth the money. This is a worthy addition to the well thought out and researched version of Mr Slades Alternative history series. Only disappointment was that this book wasn't available in the Kindle Format.

Good Read, Bad Font and Editing.

Another well-told story in the Slade alternate history series of "The Big One" where America doesn't fight wars after losing so many men on the Russian Front in WW II, but simply decimates any country daring to challenge us via the nuclear prowess of the Strategic Aerospace Command. This one concerns Great Britain's rise back to a force to be reckoned with by standing (mostly) on it's own in the Falkland conflict set in the early 1980s. I would have given this book a fifth star had it not been for poor editing and very small font for a book of it's size. All in all, a good read for military alternative history buffs, however, especially those following Stuart Slade's timeline.

stuart slade books never disappoint and this one def does not let you down. lots of hard core military action combined with characters from previous books.this is not where you want to start the series of alternative WW II history that would be THE BIG ONE but if you are into this series then you need this book. and if you like alternative history and are not into this series you are truly missing out. I cant hardly wait for the next volume
